Our Altar Society has very dedicated members who are there every week cleaning and preparing St. Bernard Catholic Church for its next Mass or special activities.

Our Martha-Mary Group is always there to help prepare a meal for our parishioners who may find their family facing the loss of a loved one. This group of volunteers are always there to prepare Iverson Hall and make sure there is plenty of food on hand following a funeral. We thank Mazie for heading up this group.

Two of our coordinators are Pat for the Lectors and Joan for the Extraordinary Communion Ministers. Pat is also one of our CCD teachers and has been teaching for many years. Joan also goes on a weekly basis to the two nursing homes that St. Bernard Catholic Church serves. She is normally accompanied by Doug and occasionally another will help her.

Our Religious Education Program is continuing at OLPS but we have it back at Iverson Hall next year when renovations are complete.

Our Pastoral Council, Finance Committee are made up of members of both churches who give of their time and meet every month to ensure the continuation of activities.

Our Music Program is small but everyone is very talented.

Carol and Norbert are very active in The New Orleans Cursillo movement. This is a great weekend and we hope everyone finds the time to attend one. The next women's weekend will be held in May.
