Catholic Daughters


From its inception in 1903, Catholic Daughters of the Americas has grown and developed into the largest organization of Catholic women in the Americas.  The purpose of the organization is to participate in the religious, charitable and educational Apostolates of the Church.  Catholic Daughters of the Americas engages in creative and spiritual programs which provide its members with the opportunity to develop their special God-given talents in a meaningful way and positively influence the welfare of the Church and all peoples throughout the world.

Knights of Columbus


Founded on the principles of charity, unity and fraternity, the Knights of Columbus was established in 1882 by Father Michael J. McGivney, assistant pastor of St. Mary's Church in New Haven, Conn., and a group of parishioners. Their intent? To bring financial aid and assistance to the sick, disabled and needy members and their families.

Altar Society


An altar society or altar guild is a group of laypersons in a parish church who maintain the ceremonial objects used in worship. Members’ most common functions are making floral arrangements for the sanctuary, caring for linens, and holding fundraisers to purchase items for the sanctuary, including vestments and altar vessels.
